The “Buscadero” leather travel tag is created using various traditional saddle stamps.  Putting hammer to tool, one impression at a time, this tag is embellished on both sides and along the strap.  It is block dyed by hand, using a square of fabric wrapped around a wooden block.  This method gives stunning variation to the color and also highlights the tooling.  While one surface of the leather is dyed brown, the underside is left natural, while the edges are burnished to give the tag a finished look and add to its durability.  The handcrafted “Buscadero” stands out from crowd of average travel accessories and makes a unique gift.
