Style does not have to be complicated, and the “Stone Free” leather luggage tag is a testament to that.  The gorgeous variation of pink tones are adornment enough for this tag.  I use a technique called “block dying” to bring about varying shades, using a wooden block wrapped in a swatch of cotton fabric to apply the dye.  Each leather hide is different, and each section of the hide takes the dye differently, making every tag completely unique.  The underside of each section is left natural, providing a nice contrast to the pink.  The edges of the leather are burnished until they are smooth and golden in color.
