“Hoof” is a bold name for a bold tag, covered in solid, stunning impressions.  The heavy stamp I use to make this tooled leather tag reminds me of a horse hoof and has always been one of my favorites.  When block dyed, the impressions are left the natural color of leather, while the rest of the tag is saturated in rich purple tones, providing contrast and dimension.  The edges of “Hoof” are burnished until smooth and the flip side of the leather is left natural to coordinate with the natural impressions left by the stamp.  This bag tag is a big hit with cowboys and rock and rollers alike.
